You Have to Wonder …

Seems like it was a month or two ago we talked about a poll that asked respondents if they thought Joe Biden was actually in charge. You know, as in, discharging the duties required of the President of the United States.

Of course it predictably came out that those identifying as Republican pretty much unanimously said he was not. More frightening was the fact that 32% of Democrats also said the Biden isn’t really doing anything but playing the puppet to whoever is in charge.

And because they can’t keep him shielded from the press 100% of the time there have been plenty of hints that whoever these “handlers” may be they are definitely “in charge.”

Biden has now admitted on multiple occasions that he has “been told what to do.” He’s even used the word “instructed.” The evidence is piling up.

Biden declared Sunday he wasn’t “supposed to take any questions” during a visit to the National Response Coordination Center at FEMA headquarters as Hurricane Ida slammed Louisiana.

“I’m not supposed to take any questions, but go ahead,” Biden said to a reporter before quickly changing his mind when he was asked about Afghanistan. When the reporter asked the question Biden said he wouldn’t talk about Afghanistan, turned and walked out of the room, apparently not wanting to stick around and see if there were any hurricane related softballs NBC might have tossed him.

In addressing reporters for the first time after the terror attacks in Kabul he said: “Ladies and gentlemen, they gave me a list here. The first person I was instructed to call on was Kelly O’Donnell from NBC,” Biden said. Instructed. Interesting choice of words.

Biden also said he would be “in trouble” if he continued to take questions from reporters during a rare back-and-forth with the press in April. He said the exact same words when explaining why he had to call on only certain reporters during a press conference in May.

In March he appeared with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the topic of the vaccine rollout. You know the one where he promised to get to goals that I pointed out on this blog he’d never be able to get to – and he proved me right.

There appeared to be confusion at the end of the joint appearance when Biden asked Pelosi if he was “supposed to take questions.” His handlers immediately went into panic mode as they had not prepared his canned answers for anything like that and they cut off the feed to keep him from making a serious gaffe.

I have to wonder today if there is any Democrat who honestly believes he’s in charge. That this is truly “his administration.” If there is, well, stupid is as stupid does.
